I was trying to open a PowerPoint presentation and I am getting this error.
Powerpnt.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000022). Click OK to close the application.
So if I press OK - the application proceeds to open. It then tells me PowerPoint found an error with the presentation and asks if I want it to fix it. If I click ok I get the error again.
64bit Version.
Opens fine with Office 2010. (64bit)
Ideas?
Being able to drag shortcuts and text snippets from browsers to OneNote (which inserts the text and a link to the page) is an important feature of OneNote.
Dragging shortcuts and text snippets from IE (9 or 10) to OneNote 2013 seems not to work. I tried on Windows 8. With Firefox it works fine.
How can we enable this?

Microsoft Connect bug report about the same problem with IE9 and OneNote 2010 on Win7 over a year ago, but it was closed as not reproducible, even though this is easily reproducible with a clean install of Windows and Office.
Hi. I had tested the Office 2013 preview App-V package but had since decided to install the application directly. I unpublished the App-V package and confirmed it was gone from my machine (and even rebooted). However, when I attempt to install the Office 2013 package directly, I get the following error:
"Microsoft Office 2013 does not support upgrading from a preview version of Microsoft Office 2013. You must first uninstall these preview versions of Microsoft Office 2013 products and associated technologies: Office 15 Click-to-Run Licensing Component"
I've found older articles referring to this issue with Office 2010 (e.g. http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/office2010/thread/2d18b9e6-dac5-4555-87ae-37762f36a9e5) and they suggest running the apparently now unavailable cleanc2r.exe application. How can I clean my current Windows 8 installation so that I can proceed with installation?

I just generated a key in MSDN and tried to activate my Office 2013 pro plus preview, it says invalid key. I am on Windows 8.

I migrated my current version of Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2013 all of my POP accounts came over as well as my PST'S but it seems that the automatic send/receive function is not working in either online or offline mode. I have it set to 1 minute for testing (previously 5mins) and and the automatic send/receive function is not kicking off. I have let it sit for more than a few hours the last couple of days and new mail or RSS feeds are not coming in automatically, I have to manually press F9 or click on the send/receive button. Has anyone else experieced this, or am I missing something.
As part of my troubleshooting I removed my default account and re-added with no luck, all the accounts are POP accounts to ISP'S not Hotmail or google.
Also my "Junk email" email settings are not staying I select high and i go back to check and it's back to the default of no junk mail filtering.

I recently downloaded the Office 2013 preview. After linking my Gmail account, Outlook automatically started synchronizing my inbox. As best as I can tell, it picked up everything from inception (January 2011) to May 2011, where it suddenly stops. The taskbar still has the "Synchronizing Inbox" message but I'm quite certain it is inactive.
I've read through many related questions on here and tried some of the solutions offered, but still cannot get fully synchronized. I'm now up to October 2011 after messing with folders and send/receive options. Most of these threads and solutions are a few months old, so I'm hoping someone has some up-to-date info on what's going on here.

I started using Outlook 2013 and have found a bug with Microsoft attachments.
I receive 2 error messages when attempting to open or view attached files.
The file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer:
Microsoft Excel Previewer
To open this file in its own program, double-click it.
Microsoft Excel cannot open or save any more documents because there is not enough available memory or disk space.

The only solution I have found is to
If I am fast enough I can click on File and save the file in a different format, which will allow for me to open it normally.
I need a solution for this problem, as I like using the Office 2013 suite.

My computer had been installed Office 2013 ProPlus preview version. Most times, the browser opens the link right away, but other times Outlook takes 5 to 10 seconds to pass the URL to the browser, since absolutely nothing seems to happen in that time. Sometimes I even click it again, thinking that I missed it the first time, and when I do, I eventually end up with multiple tabs of the same link.
In all cases, the browser is already running. And it's the same very fast machine.
I didn't see this problem with the previous Outlook.

i tried with a software to uninstall and nothing... what can i do?

I have to say I love the new Office 2013. and have been using it since the preview began.
I got it to work with ICLOUD control panel but my problems started when ICLOUD 2.0 was installed where OUTLOOK 2013 would constantly hang.
Eventually , it would not restart at all.
Part of the problem may be that while all other OFFICE 2013 components had upgraded to VERSION....1025. the OUTLOOK component only stayed on ...1022. Uninstalling and re-installing would not help. so in the end I had to totally uninstall 2013 and go back to 2010 - very disappointing.
My WORK machine is still sitting on ICLOUD 1.1 and Office 2013 ver....1022. So all is good for now.
How do you force office to upgrade to ver ...1025 or is it just an auto update? But mine does not seem to have updated. Also if all components update to ...1025 but NOT OUTLOOK how do you get OUTLOOK to singly force the update??

I have successfully install Office 2013 (Release through Volume Licensing), first i tried 32-bit, then 64-bit. When i had the 32-bit installed, i couldn't launch any application, Outlook, Word, Excel, they would all say Applicaiton stopped working and immediately close. If it tried to launch it again, it would do the same. With the 64-bit version, I get that error the first time, then the second time it asks me if i want to start in Safe Mode, if I say yes, then it will launch and I can use the application.
